Jeffrey Schuttler, President
Jeff began his time with Victor Construction when he was just a boy. With his mother and father trying to develop and expand the business, Jeff was assigned to the duties of a laborer. “Whether it was pushing a broom or transferring materials, it didn’t matter what assignment I was given. I wanted to be a part of the family dynamic that was fighting for the common goal. We wanted to become known to the Chicagoland area as a construction company that customers could rely and depend on for quality service.”  Now as President, Jeff oversees the management of the company. He has experience in all aspects of construction, from field coordination to the development and implementation of Victor Construction Company’s present management system. Jeff is also responsible for the overall management of preconstruction and construction phase services. Areas under his direction include client relations, cost control, estimating, value engineering, quality control, project coordination, negotiations, purchasing, and scheduling.

Zachary Schuttler, Vice President
Much like his father, Zak began working with Victor Construction at a young age. At the age of 16, Zak joined the crew and began on-site assistance as a laborer. Zak pursued his education in construction management. After doing so, Zak returned to the company in hopes of continuing the family legacy that his grandfather “Poppa” established.  As Vice President, Zak handles the financial, sales, and marketing aspects for Victor Construction. His experience as District Manager for a financial company has helped implement new financial strategies, as well as new policies and procedures. In addition, he implements and manages a newly structured sales and marketing team as well as oversees the company’s safety practices and policies.

Samuel Whitaker, Superintendent
Sam began his career at Victor Construction as a laborer. Through extraordinary work performance and reliable willingness to go the extra mile, he progressed to Lead Site-Superintendent. His project responsibilities require him to be on the job site to coordinate and oversee the daily operations of all trades through the duration of the project. Sam remains in contact with a project’s architect, owner, project manager, and subcontractors to ensure client satisfaction.

Joe is known to customers as a person that can be relied upon for being ahead of the game and doing things correctly the first time. To his enjoyment, you can often find Joe getting his hands dirty with the rest of the crew and joining them in getting carpentry projects accomplished. However, it is his amazing qualities as Site-Superintendent that he is known for within the company. His duties include coordinating all on-site activity, managing the work of all subcontractors, supervising Victor Construction laborers and carpenters, and being a frequent communicator with the subcontractor project managers.

Scott Solverson, Business Developer
Scott Solverson is responsible for networking, client relationship building, and developing new business opportunities for Victor Construction. In his career, he developed relationships with owners, architects, developers, Facility Managers, among other contacts, and helped to define their needs, strategize building options, negotiate contracts, close business deals, and maintain those relationships for a win-win result for client and owner. He has worked as a Business Development Representative in the construction industry for 16 years and is also the President of the Northern Illinois Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Scott is a graduate of Northern Illinois University (NIU) and has a B.S. Degree from the Business School and a Master of Arts in Corporate Communication, also from NIU.

Lauren Davies, Project Administrator
As a frequent communicator with customers, architects, project managers, and subcontractors, Lauren oversees and tracks several behind-the-scenes operations at Victor Construction. From beginning to end, Lauren takes part in the management process of a project. As Project Administrator, Lauren tracks incoming proposals and quotes from subcontractors. A midst an awarded project, Lauren collects submittals from subcontractors and ensures that customers and architects receive them promptly. At the conclusion of a project, she prepares and supplies customers with Victor Construction’s Close-Out Package, a go-to reference material that assists customers with future questions they may have about their new work space.
