Jeffrey Schuttler, President
Jeff began his time with Victor Construction when he was just a boy. While his mother and father founded the family business, Jeff began working as a site laborer. “Whether it was pushing a broom or transferring materials, it didn’t matter what assignment I was given. I wanted to be a part of the family dynamic fighting for the common goal. We wanted to be the Chicagoland construction company customers relied on.” Now as President, Jeff oversees the management of the company. He has experience in all aspects of construction, from field coordination to implementing Victor’s management systems. Areas under his direction include client relations, cost control, value engineering, and quality assurance. Jeff is committed to client satisfaction,
pushing our team to strive for managerial excellence and superior craftsmanship on every project.

Zachary Schuttler, Vice President
Like his father, Zak began working with Victor Construction at a young age. At 16, Zak joined the crew and began onsite as a laborer. Zak pursued his education in construction management, and returned to Victor to continue the family legacy his grandfather had established. As Vice President, Zak manages the financial, business development, and building technology departments of Victor Construction. His experience as district manager for a financial company has helped him implement efficient financial strategies. Zak has also revamped Victor’s project management procedures, investing in innovative online project management system, Procore. Zak also oversees company safety practices, ensuring Victor’s crew maintains a clean and
secure construction zone at all times.

Mark brings over 35 years of commercial construction experience to Victor. After presiding over his own company for almost two decades, Mark knows what a successful project requires – he names humility, vision, preparedness, and detailed documentation as crucial ingredients. Our clients can expect truth and loyalty from Mark; it’s not about what’s best for him, but what’s best for the customer and project. He begins each project with an efficient schedule, with built in cost-containment protocols. Mark recognizes that construction budgets are the backbone of any project. His consistent leadership and exceptional production set him apart as a key member of Victor’s team. Mark will work to exceed expectations on every project he leads.

Samuel Whitaker, Lead Site Superintendent
Sam began his career at Victor Construction as a laborer. Through extraordinary work performance, he advanced to Lead Site-Superintendent. Sam is responsible for onsite coordination, overseeing the daily operations of all trades through the duration of the project. From start to finish, he remains in contact with the architect, owner, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Sam stands out as one of Victor’s most skilled and trustworthy leaders, always willing to go the extra mile for both
our crew and clients. Sam strives to provide a polished and professional end result for every project, every time.

Our customers know Joe as a reliable, quick-thinking leader of Victor’s construction crew, committed to producing quality workmanship. Joe doesn’t hesitate getting his hands dirty with the rest of the team to get projects completed within a deadline. Due to his outstanding leadership qualities, Joe earned his role as Site-Superintendent, directing many of Victor’s large-scale and fast moving projects. Joe’s duties include coordinating all on-site activity, managing subcontractors, supervising Victor Construction laborers and carpenters, and communicating project progress to all involved.

Lauren Davies, Project Administrator & Bid Manager
As a frequent communicator with clients, architects and subcontractors, Lauren manages ‘behind-the- scenes’ operations at Victor. Timely communication and a thorough eye for detail led to a promotion to Bid Manager in 2017. Tracking incoming quotes from subcontractors through Procore online, Lauren ensures project managers have what they need to produce a quality proposal. Amidst an awarded project, she assists with permit applications, meeting minutes, and submittals, making sure customers and architects receive them promptly. At project conclusion, she creates a Close-Out package, a go-to reference that contains key information about a customer’s new work space. Lauren has a background in the arts, which she utilizes in managing Victor’s social media accounts and website updates. She takes project photos and writes Victor’s marketing stories, many of which have been published in online real estate magazines.

Alexis Jones, Project Accoutant
With a background in management, customer service, and financial growth, Alexis manages all of Victor’s project accounting. Utilizing Procore and QuickBooks and handling everything from project budgeting, to change orders, to final pay applications, Alexis provides quality financial care to both our clients and subcontractors alike. Internally, she assists Victor’s management team with keeping project budgets organized and streamlining the billing process, improving the overall quality of our work.

Elizabeth Schuttler, Business Developer
Elizabeth takes an enthusiastic and original approach to Victor’s Business Development. Dedicated to increasing Victor’s influence in the construction world, Elizabeth is always focused on our clients at every level, treating them as equal partners in respect to their construction goals. Whether instigating new business, maintaining long term client connections, or restoring growth opportunities with past clients, Elizabeth builds relationships. She has renewed Victor’s focus on maintaining personal connections in an increasingly digital age. Elizabeth is a member of BOMA, IFMA, and AIRE. She also regularly supports the community at large, volunteering on behalf of Victor at service-based events several times a year.

Scott Solverson, Business Developer
Scott Solverson is Victor’s networking guru, in charge of building client relationships and developing new business opportunities. In his career, Scott has established enduring relationships with various Chicagoland property owners, architects, developers, and facility managers, helping to define their needs and strategize building solutions. Scott does everything from negotiate contracts to close business deals, maintaining close contact with our clients, ensuring a win-win result for all involved. He has worked as a business development leader in the construction industry for over 18 years, connecting Victor to many important and influential clients. Scott is also an active member (and a past president) of the Northern IL chapter of IFMA, as well as a
current member of AIRE.
